How we handle your data.

1. Who is the controller?

This notice applies to visitors to kacshidegburkolas.hu and people requesting a quote through the website, by email or by telephone.

2. Quote requests and contact

For a quote request, we ask for your name, email address, the town or district of the site, the service type and a brief description of the work. A telephone number is optional. Please do not include unnecessary personal data or special-category data in your message.

We use these details to prepare a quote, arrange a site visit and respond to you. For individual customers, the legal basis is taking steps at their request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For business contacts, our legitimate interest is responding to a business enquiry (Article 6(1)(f)); you may object to this processing.

We cannot process the online request without the required fields. We receive the message by email; its contents are not stored in the WordPress database. We do not add you to a marketing list or carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

3. How long do we retain data?

We process the data until the enquiry is resolved. If no contract is concluded, we retain the closed enquiry emails for no more than six months, then delete them. If a contract is concluded, separate statutory retention requirements apply to contractual and accounting records; we provide information at that stage. Data necessary for a legal claim may be retained for the period needed to resolve the claim.

4. Technical safeguards

The form uses short-lived technical identifiers to prevent abuse: a keyed hash of the IP address for up to 15 minutes, and a duplicate-submission hash for up to 24 hours. These do not store a readable copy of the message or IP address. Their legal basis is our legitimate interest in securing the website and email service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Hosting may involve security and troubleshooting logs. The actual retention settings for logs and backups depend on the production hosting configuration and must be limited to the period necessary for their purpose.

Providers may access data only to the extent needed for their tasks. Website hosting and email are operated by different providers.

6. Cookies, statistics and external links

For details about cookies and optional statistics, see the cookie notice . Statistical measurement is based on your revocable consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google Maps links lead to external websites. We do not embed their tracking code or content. Their data processing becomes relevant when you open the link, under the respective provider’s own notice.

7. Your rights

You may request information, access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and data portability where the statutory conditions apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send requests to info@kacshidegburkolas.hu. We normally respond within one month and notify you within that period of any justified extension.
